Earthquake Sound’s LOC300R line out converter brings a high-powered output of an amplifier down to a low-level signal input of between 0.1V and 15.1V depending on the input power of the LOC300R. This allows the LOC300R to “piggyback” off of a pre-existing system without the need of running a signal wire or dealing with factory radios in car audio applications. The gain knobs allow you to fine tune the output voltage to within your amplifier’s range. The LOC300R also offers an optional 12VDC input that can be used to power up the amplifier when the vehicle starts in car audio applications.

The LOC300R’s “differential” traits mean that it also offers magnetic isolation between the input and output which removes the risk of shorting the factory amp or radio. The magnetic isolation has made the LOC300R a popular option for owners of leased or financed vehicles who cannot modify the pre-existing system.

The LOC300R can also be used in home audio to add a woofer to an existing system with a minimal addition of wires.
