The MQB-1 tactile transducer or bass shaker transmits subsonic bass frequencies and vibrations into an object it’s mounted to. It can supplement or replace traditional subwoofers and is ideal for situations where headphones must be used. Like conventional subwoofers, it receives its signal from the LFE output and can be amplified by an amplifier (XJ-300ST). It is suitable for home theater, music, and gaming applications. Tactile transducers can be connected to the LFE output, which is also used by conventional subwoofers. These devices are powered by an amplifier, such as the Class J XJ-300ST, that provides a powerful and precise low-frequency effect. The tactile transducer seamlessly integrates and enhances the audio experience when paired with an existing subwoofer.
