RB1-TX10-BB Bass Bundle
The Earthquake Sound RB1-TX10-BB Bass Bundle is an all-in-one mobile audio bass bundle. The RB1-TX10-BB is part of Earthquake’s new line of single and dual mobile audio subwoofer enclosures. Crafted from 3/4ʺ particle board, these enclosures are CNC machined to precision and assembled in house for the utmost in quality and performance. The exterior of this all new line of enclosures are finished with a black spray-on textured bedliner material that gives them a rugged yet extremely durable look. All RB1 subwoofer enclosures are available as preinstalled loaded units with wiring terminals included.
TremorX Subwoofer
This loaded enclosure houses Earthquake’s 10 inch TremorX subwoofer that features technologies such as TCT (Turbine Cooled Transducer), XLT chassis geometry, Mill-Temp aluminum voice coil, dual symmetrical stitched tinsel leads and WE (Wide Edge) edge suspension making it ready for serious low frequency reproduction. Solid quality and refined engineering makes TremorX a clear choice for the price and performance oriented enthusiast.
The heart of TremorX is an oversized voice coil. All aspects of the voice coil design is optimized for maximum performance, durability and sound quality. The voice coil former (the cylinder to which the coil is wound) is made of aluminum, not cellulose (cardboard), Kapton ® or fiberglass. The use of aluminum prevents hotspots on the voice coil – due to the superb heat conductivity inherent to aluminum. In essence the entire voice coil becomes one big heat sink. The voice coil is wound of copper wire and meets mil-std specifications for temperature resilience. German made high temperature adhesives are used to fuse the coil to the former. This guarantees peak performance even during hard and continuous operation.
MiNi D1000 Mono
The Earthquake MiNi D1000 2nd Gen Mono amplifier is one of the most efficient class “D” amplifiers ever built. Available in 3 models, these amplifiers deliver unbelievable power despite of their super-compact size. With less than 2 inches tall and 7 inches deep, the MiNi D Mono amplifiers can be installed in tight spaces of the vehicle (under the seat, behind the back seat, etc.) allowing you to reclaim your trunk space. The micro form-factor of MiNi D amplifiers open up a new realm of placement possibilities. It is no longer necessary to stuff your trunk with amplifiers to get great sound with Earthquake MiNi D amps.
Note: For vehicles that have factory head units or receivers without dedicated RCA outputs or sub outputs, Earthquake recommends using the HLLC-200 with the RB1-TX10-BB Bass Bundle. The HLLC-200 high/low level converter is a high power differential high low adapter with several beneficial uses. It can reduce the high power output of an amplifier to that of a low level signal input in RCA down to between 0.1 and 6 Volts. This is especially useful with factory or aftermarket radios that do not provide dedicated RCA outputs. The “differential” aspect of the HLLC-200 is what sets it aside from the competition. The input and output are magnetically isolated from one another. This means that the low-level signal does not share a ground with the high-power speaker removing the risk of shorting your factory amplifier or radio. This is especially useful for those who own leased vehicles that want a simple and fully reversible audio solution.
