Magma-12X (Open-Box)
Upon its release, Earthquake’s MAGMA-X drivers toppled DB drag records one by one like a bowling ball rolling through the lane. The MAGMA-12X effectively converts electrical energy into physical movement with a mechanical construction of superior quality, evident in the almost absurd overbuilding of all components.
This is further enhanced by adding TCT (Turbine Cooled Transducer) technology. TCT is a patented earthquake-exclusive technology that implements a fixed turbine vane impeller in the magnet gap. It forces the drawn-in air to rotate in a vortex pattern against the aluminum voice coil, exponentially increasing the surface contact of the cooling air. The result is a 3db increase in sound output at rated power compared to the same transducer without TCT.
The intelligent MAGMA-X design with an overbuilt motor system results in a device that is always electrically controlled by the amplifier. The strong reactive electromagnetic coupling ensures the woofer remains compression-free and will not dampen itself mechanically. The high edge surround combined with the super spider allows for huge excursion. The driver’s electrically controlled and mechanically unhampered movement results in a transient response with previously unheard-of dynamic capability.

MB1 Digital Bass Synthesizer (Open-Box)
Most factory stereos, even high-end systems, protect speakers by reducing subharmonic output when the volume is high. That’s OK in a regular system, but this bottleneck system will handicap low frequency performance if you want to upgrade your factory stereo with amplifiers and subwoofers.
The Earthquake MB1 detects the input level from a factory stereo and adds more bass at high volume levels while keeping your bass response balanced at low volume. Now, you can keep your factory stereo looking flush and its steering wheel controls intact while improving the bass quality and depth.
The MB1 easily wires up to any system and can be mounted in the front or rear of the vehicle. It has two gold-plated inputs and outputs, plus a remote dash control for easy adjustments. The SWEEP and WIDE controls manage frequency ranges for extremely high-precision custom-built bass response.
